Permanent Basketball Hoops – Accessories to Make your In Ground Basketball Hoop Even More Fun

  When you buy your permanent basketball hoop, it’s best to consider other things you can get to make your basketball hoop experience even more enjoyable.  There are plenty of accessories that you can get, but to save you money, it’s smart to just stick with a few core ones that are really essential to having fun on your Basketball Goal. 

Ground Sleeve – If you bought a permanent basketball hoop that has a bolt plate for installation, like Goalrilla or Mammoth, this doesn’t really apply. However, if you bought a direct bury basketball goal like a Lifetime or lower end Spalding system, a ground sleeve can make life a lot easier for you.  Instead of installing the pole straight into the ground, you install just the ground sleeve, and slide the pole in once the cement is dry.   This makes installation easier, because you are just dealing with an small sleeve rather than a large pole.  It also gives you the option of just removing the basketball hoop from your driveway entirely any time you wish. 

Basketball – Obviously a permanent basketball hoop isn’t a lot of fun without a good basketball. You are probably best off getting a composite leather basketball. You should avoid rubber ones because they are of generally poor quality and are a little difficult to play with after a while. You should also avoid all leather basketballs because they are designed to used indoors only, which won’t do you much good if you are playing on concrete or blacktop. 

Superior Net – The net that came with your permanent basketball hoop is a cheap nylon basketball net.   It isn’t designed to last very long, and if you play on a regular basis, it will get worn out very quickly.  If you want the same kind of basketball net that they use in the NBA, you should look for a heavy duty anti whip net.  It will last a lot longer, and makes that satisfying swish sound whenever you make a perfect basket. 

Roll Back Nets –Unfortunately a lot of people when they play basketball wind up spending more time chasing after basketballs than they spend actually shooting around.  You can fix this predicament by buying a roll back net.  These are just nets that hang from the back of the rim on a permanent basketball hoop and are weighted to the ground using sandbags.  This way, if you accidentally throw an airball, it just rolls right back to  you, instead of rolling somewhere else. 

What is the best way to get these accessories?  By making sure that you first save money on your basketball hoop. That way you’ll have plenty of money left over to have as much fun as possible once your permanent basketball hoop installed.

i brought a basketball hoop(spalding/huffy42-inch highlight) last year and now the backboard is broken! i went to the shop were i brought it and they told me it’ll cost more than half the price!! can anyone pls tell me where i can get a good&cheap replacement
