How do you remove an in ground basketball hoop?

Is there a easy way to get it down. I never use it and it is rusty and wobboly

a back hoe is the easiest way if you can get one.
if not, hook a chain on it, put an old truck rim next to it, with the chain over the rim and back up with a truck it will pull it up.

If it has alot of concrete you may have to bust it off first.

there’s also the lever technique, if you have a long solid metal rod (at least 10 foot) and a few blocks you can use a chain to pull it up this way.
