Before we get into details, you must be aware of a crucial piece of information – with the sport of basketball it isn’t just a question of which player is a better runner or jumper, it’s also a matter of decision-making and avoiding unnecessary mistakes on the court. The expertise to figure out what your opponent is planning, or when to attempt a fast break, a steal, or other moves, is linked to your cognitive or thinking abilities, or in simple words: brain skills. A lot of people have the incorrect notion of these special skills as natural or inborn, but in fact these are not “born instincts” but actually are cognitive skills anyone can acquire.

A panel of experts has come up with an exceptional software application that assists on achieving that; based on a “video game”, all you need to do is simply play it for just 20-30 minutes once or twice a week, for only a few weeks – the outcome is astonishing. Head coaches from across the usa (memphis, uconn, connecticut and others) have reported dramatic improvement just after working with individuals as well as entire teams with this exceptional product.

what should i teach for beginners basketball?
i am 17 yrs old and so is the rest of the group of 8-9 who i have to teach as part of my leadership award thing. i chose to teach them basketball for 20 minutes cause im a basketballer but im stuck as to what to teach thing since i have to consider their abilities which isn’t pretty good at all. so that limits me as to what i can do….
i have to do a 3 part warm up that includes a ball
then i have to do a skills section,
and after that i have to implement the skills into some sort of game.
In our P.E class… we had basketball for 1 quarter. Our coach first taught us how to hold the ball. Then how to dribble. He makes us sit down while dribbling the ball around our bodies.. =__= Then he made us run while dribbling.. then he taught us the proper way to hold the ball for shooting..
yeah… basics..
