Ball handling drills can really help you a lot, whether you’re playing defense or offense. It gives you eye, leg, hand control, balance and coordination that are essential throughout the game. The main key in basketball workouts is perseverance. You should devote to part of your training and make it a daily routine. If you do this, you can just dribble, pass the ball, and shoot even in your sleep. These workouts also add up to your speed, agility and body endurance. Once you have developed your agility, changing directions without losing balance and speed will not be a problem. You will have control over the ball and control over your body as well, thus giving you control over your game.

What are examples of Basketball workouts?

Here are some of the workouts done in a 45-minute basketball workout: Defensive slides for three minutes, Backboard taps for six minutes, Backboard touch for three minutes, Mikan for three minutes, Shooting drill “10″ for six minutes, Heavy rope for five minutes, Square pickups for Three minutes, Hot shots for Five Minutes, Speed Lay-ups for Three minutes, 5 Sprints in 5 Minutes for Five minutes and Around the Waist for Three minutes.

These are done for at least three times a week.
